Hi, I am newbie to this group - so please go gently with me ;-) As way of an introduction, we are developing an electric vehicle route planning system that needs remote access to vehicles to return current battery and charging status, etc. After looking at the W3C API spec it looks like some of the values can be returned via existing parameters. However, it seems to be missing support for the following key electric vehicle functionality. Charger info (rather than battery info) charger_pilot_current charger_actual_current charger_power fast_charger_present Charging control Set Charge Limit Get Charge Limit Start Charging Stop Charging Fuel temperature by zone (to cover battery temperature) So I have a couple of questions a) Is anyone looking at updating the spec to fully support electric vehicles? b) Which manufacturers are adopting the standard? c) Who is waiting for the manufacturers to implement the standard? Look forward to hearing from the group. Regards, Robert Sharpe (Managing Director) 07711 252971 Your Plugged-in Partner Evergreen Consulting is the trading name of Sharpe Consultants Ltd
