Due to low turnout we canceled the meeting and then had interesting conversation on geofencing, stemming from last week's call. In addition to privacy, its also useful for zero emission zones in cities for hybrid vehicles and other potential use cases. https://www.rotterdaminnovationcity.com/News/rotterdam-electric-city-d-1/ https://www.bmwgroup.com/en/elektromobilitaet/ezones.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=947VeQPrHzM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgA_v-O5Zv0 We should continue to explore geofencing topic. If any group participants (eg Geotab and BMW) can share how they're representing fence data and libraries Adnan mentioned he used, that would be really useful. We can run ideas by Spatial Data on the Web folk to review, they enjoyed the email conversation last week on geofencing for privacy considerations. -- Ted Guild <ted@w3.org> W3C Automotive Lead https://www.w3.org/auto
