Automated WCAG Monitoring Community Group Teleconference 2016-02-11, 16:00 - 17:25 h (CET) Participants: Frank, David, Birkir, Wilco (chair), Annika (scribe) ITEM 1: Action items See updated list in the wiki [1]. ITEM 2: Next meeting date The next meeting is on Thu, 2016-03-03, 1600h CET. ITEM 3: Invite on feedback & participation from tool vendors Wilco: Suggest to appoint 1-2 participants in auto-wcag to contact tool vendors. Frank: Good idea. Wilco: Working at deque. Currently implementing some auto-wcag test in the deque tools. Birkir: Most tools do only automated tests. Are they interested in auto-wcag (semi-automated tests)? David: What are the goals of auto-wcag? Wilco: yes, we cover HTML 5 and mobile accessibility. List of tools and experts: * AChecker[2], not contacted yet, not participating in auto-wcag. * deque aXe [3], participating in auto-wcag * Tingtun checkers [4], participating in auto-wcag * SiteImprove [5], not contacted yet, not participating in auto-wcag * Tanaguru [6], participating in auto-wcag * Fangs (Screen Reader Emulator for Firefox, hasn't be updated in a while, no ARIA support), participating in auto-wcag * Funka (Do they have their own tool?) * Functional Accessibility Evaluator [7] * HTML_CodeSniffer [8] * TotalValidatorPro [9] Wilco: Are there other accessibility experts that we could approach? David: Karl Groves. I could contact him. Decision: Which vendors/experts should we talk to: * deque (Birkir) * Tingtun (Annika) * SiteImprove (Wilco) * AChecker (David) * Tanaguru (Frank) * Karl Groves (David) Annika: Invite them to look at the tests and sent feedback on the auto-wcag mailing list. And maybe join the group. ITEM 4: Auto-WCAG workflow Wilco: suggest do move to github. David: github works well for other groups. For longer texts / wording discussion google docs could be useful. Wilco: don't see a need to use google docs. Bikir: how much work it the migration from mediawiki to github? Wilco: will look into it. ITEM 5: Review SC2-4-7-focus-in-viewport [10] Comments by Frank and Annika. Wilco: ok, the test case will be updated and finalised. ITEM 6: Review: SC2-2-2-pause-stop-hide Will be discussed in the next meeting. ITEM 7: SC1-4-1-a [11] Frank's comments. New version to be discussed in next meeting. ITEM 8: Auto-wcag 2016 workshop Wilco: Where can we hold a 1-2 day workshop in 2016? Maybe in Germany? Annika: will look into it. ITEM 9: Final thoughts None.
