notes autowcag meeting 4 december 2014 Participants Kamyar, Birkir, Wilco, Hanno, Frank 1) Action items - Kamyar did some updates on the test case - 2.4.4 Birkir prepares review next week 2) Organizing tests for 1.1.1. it’s difficult to create tests for the same success criterion with multiple tests Wilco: use exclusive selectors Frank: use simple selectors Frank recommendation to exclude group of images Frank: or complicated tests or complicated selectors Wilco: separate the logic in the selector of the text alternative Hanno: let every test return pass if it pass, if none pass, return fail Kamyar: more efficient to make one test. Conclusion: it will be rewritten to one test 3 discussion benchmarking testcases - pages, whole website, current websites of frozen sites? - 100 different webpages of different websites - we could focus on benchmarking the top 10 most important websites (Facebook, Google, Youtube etc) 4) Review http://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/SC3-2-3-navigational-links-across-pages <http://www.w3.org/community/auto-wcag/wiki/SC3-2-3-navigational-links-across-pages> Wiclo: The formula to test the order is still a bit vague. Hanno: it seems like that if one menu passes, the test passes. why only one menu as we can have multiple menu’s (footer, header, main)? Wilco: yes, Hanno: It is foreach in the WCAG2 desciprtion: For each navigational component, check that the links or programmatic references are always in the same relative order. Conclusion: to be discussed <http://www.datascape.nl/>Hanno Lans www.datascape.nl <http://www.datascape.nl/> Middenweg 73, 2024 XA Haarlem 06-26076205 | hanno@datascape.nl <mailto:hanno@datascape.nl> | @hannolans <http://twitter.com/#!/hannolans>
