Hi group, Yesterday's call was only minimally attended, so there are few things to relate. Ray, Hongchan, Chris Lilley and myself were on the call. Here is a quick summary: - We discussed the possibility of deferring further attempts to standardize channel ordering, in favor of a future descriptive data structure that would define a mapping between channel indices and acoustic channels (like L and R). See https://github.com/WebAudio/web-audio-api/issues/1089# issuecomment-297771843 - We closed issue #1094. - We talked about the fact that the MessagePort proposal for AudioWorklet communication has the potential to bring back Transferables and EventDispatcher into the audio thread, both of which had raised objections in the past from Ian due to their heavyweight nature. Hongchan is tryng to work these questions out with the Worklet folks. We have scheduled the next call for Thursday May 11 at 12 noon EDT. Best, . . . . . ...Joe
