Dear group, Here are the minutes our teleconference today: http://www.w3.org/2015/02/05-audio-minutes.html Summary: 1. Date of Next Meeting: Our next meeting is scheduled for 12 noon Boston time on Thursday 2015-02-19. 2. TPAC/F2F discussion. Some members are planning on going to TPAC (Chris W, Joe, Paul, possibly others). However there was some discussion of the potential value of an F2F at a different time slot and location. Action item for chairs: do some email/Doodle polling to determine what would work best. 3. Audio Worker Factory Proposal. Two competing proposals were discussed, without resolution, surfacing various pros and cons. Further discussion to take place on list, with a hope of trying to resolve on next call. 4. AudioFrequencyWorkerNode proposal (#468). The sense of the call was that this is a nice idea to be studied later, not v1. 5. Unclear behavior of ChannelMergerNode (#304). There was approval of Hongchan’s proposal for the new fixed-channel-count behavior in ChannelMerger but the impact on AudioWorker channel/input behavior was hard to understand and the sense was that we need Chris W’s help in figuring this out. 6. Discussed Issue #6 (selective node disconnection API). This is ready for spec editing. 7. Discussed Issue #469 (expose intrinsic latency of signal processing in each node). This turns out to be rather tricky esp. for nodes that can dynamically change their latency. There was no clear resolution to include this feature in the spec yet, nor agreement on how variable latency would be calculated and exposed. Best, …Joe Berkovitz
