RE: Market Development for "Web MIDI"

I am not sure it is appropriate to declare such a distinction at
this point, other than as an item for discussion... is that your
intention? I would argue that MMA and W3C might (as one option)
co-administer a logo for web sites that happened to involve both
web (W3C) and MIDI (MMA) technologies (Web MIDI), so if you feel
there is a reason why co-administration is not acceptable then I
would like to hear and discuss it.

I'm sorry if I implied that... I only meant to imply that some MMA
members (which, by the way, also make software) have said they would
like to have a Web MIDI logo to put on their products... what products
they want to put it on has not been fully explained to me yet. So I
don't think we can exclude anything from discussion yet (by which I
mean we should be discussing what the WG thinks should and should not
have a logo, not what the WG thinks the MMA's members want to put the
logo on).

Thanks for the suggestion... I will ask the MMA members to look at
those terms and conditions to see if they are acceptable, but of
course we also want to hear what other WG members suggest.
