Re: [CfC] Consensus gathering for the Dezippering issue

Hello,

Looking at responses to the CfC,
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2013OctDec/0311.html
I note:

* there was no objection to keeping de-zippering in the spec (which was point 1. in the CfC). I note there is broad group consensus on this point.

* There was some disagreement on point 2 - whether having smoothing on all audioparams would be better than introducing edge cases. No clear objection, but Id like to give Karl and others a chance to propose a comprehensive list of params which would, or would not, be smoothed when changing .value.

* Point 3. was more informal, and Karl made a proposal in
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2013OctDec/0322.html
I would welcome more discussion on the issue.

I will put de-zippering on the agenda for our call on Thursday. Would appreciate if all participants in the discussion could confirm whether they can attend.

Olivier
