Dear all, The minutes of the Audio WG teleconference on 10th January 2013 are online: http://www.w3.org/2013/01/10-audio-minutes.html We mostly discussed two topics: 1) Web MIDI Security Model We discussed the kind of permission model needed for the web MIDI API. The spec no longer says requesting permission is a MUST, but there are still questions on what granularity to provide, and whether there should be an asynchronous call to know whether a script has permission. ChrisW will be summarising the state of the discussion and our options in the issue tracker. 2) Github We are moving the editor's draft, versioning and issues tracking for web MIDI to github, which the editors favour. The Web audio API and uses cases documents will remain on the W3C's mercurial and bugzilla for the time being. Next call: 24th Jan. http://timeanddate.com/s/2aqb -- Olivier ----------------------------- http://www.bbc.co.uk This e-mail (and any attachments) is confidential and may contain personal views which are not the views of the BBC unless specifically stated.
