We're currently hoping to ship an unprefixed implementation of Web Audio in Firefox 24, which is scheduled to release on September 17 this year. Of course it's still too early to say whether that actually happens, and we're ready to disable Web Audio on our Beta channel in case of a disaster, but at this point I believe that this is a realistic plan. It would be great if we can get an interoperable unprefixed implementation in one other web browser as well. Given the release schedule of Safari, I believe Chrome is the only other viable option. crogers, do you think this is something that interests the Chrome/Blink teams?
