The GainNode absolutely has to be able to have very high gain values, as
it's the only way to be able to scale the output of one oscillator to
modulate the output of another via an AudioParam (i.e. for frequency
modulation).

In that mode, the ±1 output of the oscillator needs to be scaled up to
the modulation frequency.
