Back in 2007 we were transitioning from the old V18 API to the new V19 API. The first stable snapshot of V19 was in December of 2007, a few months after your troublesome experience. There has been a lot of work done since then. PortAudio is now much more stable and is used in many applications. http://www.portaudio.com/apps.html PortAudio might be a useful host independent platform for browsers. If there are still problems then we would like to know so we can fix them. I'm sure that if the other PortAudio developers knew there was a chance of it being used in a browser then it would light a fire under them. Phil Burk
