I think we'll probably settle for a mix. * Some issues will be closed by the chairs for lack of objection after a while, or if clear consensus is reached on the list or in a teleconference. * Some will be closed by the person who raised them if the resolution satisfies them So long as the status changes and their rationale is clearly documented, either should be perfectly fine.
