I'd add that the timeline for the MIDI API looks optimistic also, since
we're 2/3rds of the way through Q2 and don't have the charter authority (do
we?) to publish a FPWD of a MIDI API.  :)

It's possible that we'd be able to get from FPWD to LC in the same quarter,
given the immense work that Jussi's done on proposing the API and putting
it into spec form; but that's probably optimistic.  I'd rather set the bar
a little lower and try to actually clear it, for once.
