Re: Problem with AccName spec regarding events

Yes - once 1.2 is out of the door those things can be added.

Found it, thanks.

https://w3c.github.io/core-aam/#mapping_events_state-change

For future reference, aria-description will need to be added there too.

Bryan,

There are events for aria-label & aria-labelledby and aria-describedby in Core-AAM (editors draft)

Regards,

James

Subject: Problem with AccName spec regarding events

Hi,

I was trying to track this down this morning, and am finding that something important appears to have been removed from the AccName spec at some point and I just noticed it.

Within the previous iterations of the spec, the AccName Events section was clearly documented:

https://www.w3.org/TR/2014/WD-accname-aam-1.1-20141211/#events

Now however, there appears to be no such section in the latest AccName spec, which is a problem:

https://www.w3.org/TR/accname-1.1/#events

Does anyone know where this section has gone to?

Thanks,

Bryan
