[Jason] I think where we disagree is that I deny there's a significant, qualitative difference from the user's point of view between potentially inaccurate role information and a potentially inaccurate label. It very much depends on context and purpose, so although I agree that aria-roledescription affects role information, I don't think it creates any potential for problems that are qualitatively worse than those which authors can create in other ways.
