Hi,
Since these are native link elements, they need a return false on the script, otherwise when you press Enter on them in JAWS after arrowing to them in the virtual buffer it refreshes the page and the menu cannot be navigated. The attribute usage looks good though.

In the page it says you are adding the roles dynamically? This may be a problem if so.
