Thanks for clarification. I made a request to local IT to update my machine to the latest build published and will test then again. In order for WebDriver to work with your build, you will need to install the 10240 build from the link below. However, as I say, you'll not see any of our accessibility updates in that build. What you really want to do is get the latest Windows Insiders build which will have our new accessibility tree and the tree viewer in F12. https://insider.windows.com/ From: Schnabel, Stefan [mailto:stefan.schnabel@sap.com] Sent: Friday, June 24, 2016 9:03 AM To: John Jansen <John.Jansen@microsoft.com<mailto:John.Jansen@microsoft.com>>; Cynthia Shelly <cyns@microsoft.com<mailto:cyns@microsoft.com>>; Richard Schwerdtfeger <richschwer@gmail.com<mailto:richschwer@gmail.com>>; Gunderson, Jon R <jongund@illinois.edu<mailto:jongund@illinois.edu>>; John Foliot <john.foliot@deque.com<mailto:john.foliot@deque.com>>; Rakesh Paladugula <rakesh.paladugula@deque.com<mailto:rakesh.paladugula@deque.com>>; suman.damera@deque.com<mailto:suman.damera@deque.com>; Joanmarie Diggs <jdiggs@igalia.com<mailto:jdiggs@igalia.com>> Cc: ARIA Working Group <public-aria@w3.org<mailto:public-aria@w3.org>>; public-aria-test@w3.org<mailto:public-aria-test@w3.org> Subject: RE: ARIA Implementation Testing agenda item for ARIA call this week John, Many thanks for quick answer. As a matter of fact, I downloaded the Insiders version from the given location before I wrote the last mail. My Edge is 20.10240.16384.0 This give me the ("Ordinal 870 cannot be located in dynamic link library error") on start. I have Win 10 Enterprise 64bit with latest fixes. BTW, I notetd that Edge seems not to map nodes referenced with aria-describedby relations to MSAA accDescription, IE 11 does. Can you verify that? Is there a comparison chart regarding Delta IE/Edge WAI ARIA support? Best Regards Stefan From: John Jansen [mailto:John.Jansen@microsoft.com] Sent: Freitag, 24. We are going to add some version checking in the future to help with this :) What you should do is download a new driver[1] that matches your build. -John [1] https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/webdriver/ From: Schnabel, Stefan [mailto:stefan.schnabel@sap.com] Sent: Friday, June 24, 2016 3:03 AM To: Cynthia Shelly <cyns@microsoft.com<mailto:cyns@microsoft.com>>; Richard Schwerdtfeger <richschwer@gmail.com<mailto:richschwer@gmail.com>>; Gunderson, Jon R <jongund@illinois.edu<mailto:jongund@illinois.edu>>; John Jansen <John.Jansen@microsoft.com<mailto:John.Jansen@microsoft.com>>; John Foliot <john.foliot@deque.com<mailto:john.foliot@deque.com>>; Rakesh Paladugula <rakesh.paladugula@deque.com<mailto:rakesh.paladugula@deque.com>>; suman.damera@deque.com<mailto:suman.damera@deque.com>; Joanmarie Diggs <jdiggs@igalia.com<mailto:jdiggs@igalia.com>> Cc: ARIA Working Group <public-aria@w3.org<mailto:public-aria@w3.org>>; public-aria-test@w3.org<mailto:public-aria-test@w3.org> Subject: RE: ARIA Implementation Testing agenda item for ARIA call this week Cynthia, Is the MicrosoftWebDriver.exe attached to the github project compliant to Edge V20.x ? Someone should be able to build on top of that. It's a couple days of straightforward coding to build one of these. Rakesh and Suman, Do you have C# or Python skills? Our stuff is written in C#, and I believe Joanie is doing the ATK one in Python. Here's the github https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/A11y A kickoff call would be great, but I don't think we should block on that, given the time zone differences.
