Hello all, Last week I took the action to draft some additional author guidance language around the proposed password role. I want to thank Leonie for being my initial springboard on this, and I would like to propose the following be added to the spec. (Note this is open to additional word-smithing.) Warning: the password role does not convey or apply any of the security or privacy considerations found in native password fields. Authors are responsible for making sure that custom password fields have robust security and privacy protection, as befits their use. I look forward to discussing this on today's call, and to having this (or a rough approximation of this) added to the spec.
