RE: Agenda ARIA 2 June 2016

I thought we had agreement that action 2039 should be on tomorrow’s agenda. It was on last week’s agenda but got put off at the end due to other discussion.

I think this is a simple one. It is mostly clarification of ARIA 1.0definition of aria-autocomplete. It is not a change to ARIA 1.0 except for minor updates to align it with the ARIA 1.1 definition of aria-haspopup. There are normative statements added for authors. In ARIA 1.0 some of the authoring requirements were implicit rather than explicit.

 

I have received some editorial suggestions from Joseph (Thank you Joseph!) that I will implement before the meeting. That is the only feedback I have received so far.

 

During the meeting, I will be on a cell phone in a car (with kids). I expect to lose cell coverage about half way through the meeting. So, it would be nice if we could put this as early as possible on the agenda.
