Hi James, Alex,

Last week I asked you again about mappings for aria-errormessage and aria-details. Alex had proposed two new relationships for these and no reverse mappings:

IA2_RELATION_DETAILS
and
IA2_RELATION_ERROR_MESSAGE


Joanie believes we need reverse relations (I would agree even though there is a performance hit). The other option is to reuse the described by relationships  in IA2 but put an object attribute on the target. They would not be used in the computation of accessible descriptions per the spec.

We need a decision. Would you please decide what you want. The ARIA effort is waiting on a decision.
