### continued discussion of the restrictions on simulating key presses in macOS

We discussed lessons learned during TPAC 2023 during [the community group's meeting on September 25](https://www.w3.org/2023/09/25-aria-at-minutes.html). One of those related to the macOS maintainers' reluctance to expose any API for simulating key presses. [AT Driver](https://github.com/w3c/at-driver/) and the tests in ARIA-AT currently rely on this capability, so the feedback has the potential to change the projects substantially.

We began a discussion to understand the security concerns which motivated the feedback from the macOS maintainers. That conversation was ongoing when the meeting ended, so we can revisit it during this week's meeting.

### review of latest proposal for automation UI in ARIA-AT App

Over the past few months, we've been simultaneously implementing and refining the user interface for automated response collection in ARIA-AT App. During the meeting, we can review [the latest iteration of the design](https://github.com/w3c/aria-at-app/issues/732#issuecomment-1789430545).
