Re: Calendar details for TPAC meetings

Hi Jason, all,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been unable to join some meetings that you wanted to attend - feel free to email us off-list with any that you would like to attend that haven't happened yet, and we'll try to figure out what the problem is. (Per the below, if my suggestion doesn’t help, perhaps also copy the events team, if it might be an issue with the Calendar tool.)

I've just been through all the meetings in our APA wiki page [1] and I _can_ see joining instructions for them all. These details can be found via the official TPAC calendar pages for those meetings, all of which are linked in the various "space" links from our wiki page. I was logged in when I checked, so hopefully there is not a permissions issue.

If you are trying to attend meetings that have been set up by other WGs, have you tried the "My Calendar" page [2]? I think the idea is that you have to subscribe to the ones you want to attend, and then they show up with joining info under "My Calendar" (but I could be wrong!) If you are finding subscribing to the ones you want to join to be inaccessible, then emailing us along with the events team, with pointers to the events you want to join, may be the best route.

If anyone is having problems, please let us know (on list is good for general comments; so we can amass some feedback; off-list is good for anything individual to you).

We found the remote participation to be really effective in the AG WG meetings today, so I really hope that anyone wanting to join remotely is able to do so, as when you're "in" you will be able to contribute. I hope nobody misses any more sessions, and to hear you all soon!

best regards,

Matthew

Thank you, Matthew. Based on what I've experienced so far, it appears
that, unless APA is included explicitly in the W3C calendar entry, the
details for joining the meeting are not available - even if you're
logged in with a W3C account.

So, if this is indeed the case, you may need to ensure that APA is
listed in the relevant calendar entries. I know it is for at least some
of the scheduled meetings hosted by other groups.
