Thank you, Janina, for documenting proposed priorities. I would suggest adding "Verifiable Credentials" to the list, under a general privacy/security/cryptography category. From an RQTF standpoint, I would be interested in details of any other technologies that APA working group participants believe should receive significant research attention this year. Note also the W3C Workshop on Web & Machine Learning, in which accessibility is noted as a topic: https://www.w3.org/2020/01/machine-learning-workshop/ This raises the question whether matters arising from the workshop are likely to become priorities this year - perhaps best considered after the event. -----Original Message----- From: Janina Sajka <janina@rednote.net> Sent: Tuesday, January 28, 2020 2:09 PM To: W3C WAI Accessible Platform Architectures <public-apa@w3.org> Subject: Proposed APA Priorities for 2020 Colleagues: We have the beginnings of a prioritized listing of priorities for APA in the current calendar year posted here: https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2FWAI%2FAPA%2Fwiki%2FAPA_priorities_2020&data=02%7C01%7Cjjwhite%40ets.org%7Cdc429e7a9f5746d0d8e208d7a4259b80%7C0ba6e9b760b34fae92f37e6ddd9e9b65%7C0%7C0%7C637158353739812222&sdata=PfvVMQTGDFRrcQ7M3FRtqdBFDfT8InCUFPcBj%2BwitKA%3D&reserved=0 Notably missing are priorities for either the Personalization TF and for the Pronunciation TF. Obviously, we'll need to factor those in as well. However, the above should give us a good starting point for discussion on list here and on our Wednesday telecons beginning tomorrow, 29 January.
