Hi Janina and Samuel Sorry for the lack of response. I've been travelling and am back and going through the documentation. I look forward to the meetings next week. I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on the topics of the workshop in the form of a short position statement - that will both give the program committee ideas of what you might want to contribute and, since we continue to get a steady flow of late inquiries, help make the case that you should get priority for an open seat. Details can be found in the call for participation: https://www.w3.org/Privacy/permissions-ws-2018/cfp.html If you're stumped, you might start by thinking about the questions we asked in the application questionnaire: -- Do you have research to share, an implementation or prototype to demonstrate, or a proposal to present? Please provide links and/or a brief explanation. -- What dissatisfies you about the current permission model? -- Please share some of your ideas for how to do effective security-privacy-accessibility-usability design. -- What unusual point of view will you bring to the workshop? As for others from Intuit: we are expecting Yi Zhang. Cindy Barker had applied also - unfortunately, she just told me she will not be able to join us. I try not to pay much attention to the corporate names on people's badges - I'm more interested in the quality of their own ideas. So if you know more people that would contribute usefully to the discussion, whether inside Intuit or elsewhere, feel free to send them our way, though, again, we are currently at capacity. Once you share a position statement with the PC, I'll try to get back to you quickly with an acceptance (or not, though I think that's unlikely). -- Sam On Wed, 29 Aug 2018, Janina Sajka wrote: > Thanks, Ted!
