Hi Janina

I looked to see if section 4 had a sub section on Making Content Usable for People with Cognitive and Learning Disabilities<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2FTR%2Fcoga-usable&data=05%7C01%7Ciali%40ets.org%7Ca5b3909cab274f98e3cb08da5f185234%7C0ba6e9b760b34fae92f37e6ddd9e9b65%7C0%7C0%7C637926855331763539%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=gq51tOnFrwSaYRC6tDS5PAQctFoZktVu8JHcbcWuBx0%3D&reserved=0> -which was a key request - and it was not there. A quick skim did not see many usable accommodations for COGA needs.

I can go through the list of issues, but this is for me a substantial job. We have a ftf next week. I will try and get to it the week after that.

All the best

Lisa

Dear Lisa:

Your -1 and your comments on this Call for Consensus are confusing me.

I note that RQTF formally received comments from COGA on our Remote
Meetings document in December 2021, filed by COGA as a github issue in
the APA github repository:

https://github.com/w3c/apa/issues/264<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fw3c%2Fapa%2Fissues%2F264&data=05%7C01%7Ciali%40ets.org%7Ca5b3909cab274f98e3cb08da5f185234%7C0ba6e9b760b34fae92f37e6ddd9e9b65%7C0%7C0%7C637926855331763539%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=CZAruShIeTnioXYd6n2jH6fjZoG9Mq3KwddhiZLpBY8%3D&reserved=0>

These were processed (by hand) into the github issues we needed them to
be by Scott:

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-rqtf/2022Jan/0006.html<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flists.w3.org%2FArchives%2FPublic%2Fpublic-rqtf%2F2022Jan%2F0006.html&data=05%7C01%7Ciali%40ets.org%7Ca5b3909cab274f98e3cb08da5f185234%7C0ba6e9b760b34fae92f37e6ddd9e9b65%7C0%7C0%7C637926855331763539%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=ezoTtMN5nC80VFJnALkf0YphtSdISJdsHgDqLzdKteo%3D&reserved=0>

Furthermore, a second wide review publication was announced via the WAI
Announce list in May:

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wai-announce/2022AprJun/0002.html<https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flists.w3.org%2FArchives%2FPublic%2Fpublic-wai-announce%2F2022AprJun%2F0002.html&data=05%7C01%7Ciali%40ets.org%7Ca5b3909cab274f98e3cb08da5f185234%7C0ba6e9b760b34fae92f37e6ddd9e9b65%7C0%7C0%7C637926855331763539%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=p4UgVNeWMHDRb9ruxvlye6GAAtTlQujQvUun8Z80E54%3D&reserved=0>

We did not hear from COGA (nor anyone) on this "last call" second public
review draft, which is why it's now out for CfC.

So, I'm at a loss to understand your stated comments at this stage. Is it possible
our work on COGA comments was somehow forgotten in the flurry of other
activity? In any case I can't see how we left COGA concerns out of the
Remote Meetings document. Seems RQTF did indeed perform their due
diligence by those COGA issues that were communicated to RQTF beginning
with github issue #264.

Best,

Janina
