John Kirkwood and I from COGA were able to conduct a limited review of the document, down to User Need 4. We came up with the following list of requested additions: * * COGA would like to remove the “assistive technology” reference from User Need 1: so that it covers users with cognitive disabilities that don’t use AT. * COGA would like to add the following statement at the end of REQ1a: “and without assistive technology for those users with cognitive impairments.” COGA would like to add the following requirements for User Need 1: * REQ 1e: Allow users to select symbols that they are most familiar with. * REQ 1f: Allow users to set timing parameters around notification cues for navigation. * REQ 1g: Allow users to filter notifications by relevance. * COGA would like to add the following statement at the end of the Note (after User Need 1) on spatialized augmented reality environment: “In addition it may increase understanding of the environment for a user with a cognitive disability.” * COGA would like to add the following requirement to User Need 3: * REQ 3c: Allow user to set the pace, or speed, of movement through an environment. * COGA would like to include the following statement in User Need 4: “Users with cognitive impairments need to understand what items in a visual display are actionable targets, and how to interact with them.” * COGA would like to add the following requirements for the addition to User Need 4: * REQ 5a: Targets that are actionable should be clearly indicated. * REQ 5b: Users need to be provided a clear understanding of how to interact with actionable targets.
