Digital Forensics, Model Cards, mitigating systemic risks

Greetings AFCG!

I recently joined this CG and following an invitation by Sam to share my
relevant work, here is a link to a paper describing
parts of it

also

a recording of a seminar that introduces the context and justification

Ultimately there is a systemic risk is that the anti fraud/forensics work
can become controlled by mobs through the opacity of ML

I am working on controlled vocabularies and model cards for digital/web
based forensics to make the representation for models and
domain shared and explicit with a view to making audit trails human readable

I would like to invite beta testers for the app and get feedback

I look forward to be learning about the work being done here

It would be great to form some work groups to advance the state of the art

Discuss!

Happy Holidays

Hi Paola,

This work strikes me as similar to some hallway conversations we had around
this subject, I think it is certainly appropriate for the list. If you
would like to present on this subject, I am happy to give you time in the
meeting after tomorrow's, which will be in two weeks.

Thank you for reaching out! If you'd like to chat, I'm happy to schedule
some time.

Best,
Sam
