I'm not sure that all of the comments above are out of scope. The spec says: > it is important to be able to record the HTTP Request headers that need to be sent to retrieve the correct representation But what i'm saying is that the **request** headers may not tally with what is actually delivered if the user is provided with another way to reach a specific version of a resource.
