Style is just a selector that provides a hint about styling the resource. State is just a selector that constrains the representation of the resource to a particular time/content-type/language/etc. I don't see why these are all not selectors, and therefore why the selection specification couldn't contain any subset of these and make sense, without referring to another type, the `SpecificResource`.
