Hi all, A question that I am starting to realize from Rob's comments and some discussions around Choices in the Body: Is the Web Annotation Data Model really intend to be "a structured model and format to enable annotations to be shared and reused across different hardware and software platforms", or is it intend to represent a specific view over an annotation, with particular interest on how it should be interpreted by a client application and displayed to a user? ... much like the role of the IIIF Presentation API, over e.g. a archival or cataloguing system. -- GitHub Notification of comment by hugomanguinhas Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/web-annotation/issues/149#issuecomment-185236512 using your GitHub account
