I would like to see the use cases and needs of the client API drive what is needed from the data model and its serialization(s), rather than the other way around. If the task forces are working in parallel I worry (a teensy bit) that this might not happen. But, if there are enough opportunities for talking across the task force boundaries (telecons), and people who are on both, this wouldn’t be a problem.
