chaps, since the W3C has just moved to Webex and we are approaching our first Daylight Savings time change, no-one is quite sure what will happen next week while the US and Europe are out of synch (and possibly other time zones). as far as i can tell, the regular Webex call that we set up was tied to wall time per the London time zone, since i set it up and my timezone was set to London time in the Webex preferences. our clocks change back to UTC this weekend, but the US changes a week later. so, if our guess about the Webex setup is correct, that would mean that the conference call slot will be an hour earlier next week in the US, but the same time in the UK. The following week, it would be at the same time as currently scheduled in both countries. i don't know how this affects people dialing in from Morocco, Iran and Finland. Shervin, Behdad, could you take a quick look at that? especially given that you are at the Unicode Conf and I'm at TPAC next week, i wonder whether it might be simpler to just cancel next week's telecon?? we would still need to assess the impact on callers in other countries after the US/Europe situation settles, and that will depend to an extent on what we find out about the base time for the call (ie. is it tied to London or some other time zone). cheers, ri
