Re: AI Generated books and Reality defending

There are some relatively simple solutions to copyright infringement and plagiarism. But they require multiple stakeholder collaboration. For peer reviewed articles. magazine articles and publications the use of unique identifiers ISBN, ISSN and article ID codes could be linked to trackable unique identifiers (possibly embedded). The music industry is already employing such schemes.
Undoubtedly the EU AI Act will stimulate the development of such schemes. But the main obstacle remains: how do we fight plagiarism in a world that demands increasing open and equitable access to scientific publications?

The article below tells how authors of AI are being faked but technically, summaries are good and legal. The article also points to a new fact checking business (reality defending) This world is becoming increasingly challenging and the ability to discern must be prioritized

An AI-generated imitation of her book appeared on Amazon, in an apparent scheme to profit off her work.
