Paola, I am asking specifically for concrete action points because I too have found that in terms of which direction AI must go to become accountable, explainable, compliant to ethics and observant of intellectual property issues one of more discussion papers and white papers need to address these and other issues. Knowledge representation, mathematical modeling and AI permeate just about everything I do know across all domains of personal interest and scientific endeavors. AI and more specifically machine learning and deep learning are being exposed by many professionals, including the AI Ethics professionals sacked at Google as being biased, profiling prone, not always based on proper science (e,g, facial and emotion recognition, image processing etc.) and two problems related to the size and origin of datasets (sources of subsets, ans scraping) and in genomics the problem of interchangeability of data and results in genome wide association studies make standardization an important issue. So I agree, we have our work cut out for us. I am now also struggling with counting) I plan to put these ideas togetherin a report draft because somewhat they evolved building on the initial idea that motivated the CG in the first place The report will contain a summary of what has been done by Owen and others in relation to Stratml, and my workwhich is mostly what I have shared already in posts, from which some novel contributions have evolved I am still finishing the papers which is taking up most of my resources The need to publish a technical report with W3C as a contribution towards open standards in this space has become compelling now since there are severalstandardization bodies working on these topics competitively and inconclusively, some of which I am part of The report draft will be shared before it is published, so if anyone wishes, we could have one or more calls around the content of the report Finally, I am already sharing most of the posts with COGAI CG, Anyone is welcome to bring up topics or work items or suggest a call, I think Carl has already agreed to help coordinatecalls and if he is not available, anyone else can facilitate a call anytime, provided we have enough participants and an agendawhich relates to the cg mission cheers PDM On Tue, Feb 23, 2021 at 1:15 PM ProjectParadigm-ICT-Program <metadataportals@yahoo.com> wrote: Just checking if there are any plans for drawing a timeline with activities, online meetings and/or deliverables for the AI-KR CG and possible collaborations with other CGs?
