In the book "Architects of Intelligence. The truth about AI from the people building it" by Martin Ford, published by Packt Publsihing the book kicks off with Bengio as one of the experts interviewed.
Could you specify exactly what you disagree upon? Mind you, most AI experts are deep learning proponents.
If you want to make a case against their wide accepted viewpoints about AI and deep learning panacea you will have to point out the ambiguity in machine learning and thus deep learning caused by the gap between natural language processing and formal knowledge representation for one and the bias caused by sensory and perceptual issues.
What is brewing here is a battle between computer scientists and one group of computational neuro (cognition) scientists on one hand and philosophers, linguists, psychologists and the other neuro scientists on the other hand with logicians and mathematicians as reluctant and/or unwilling arbiters in the sidelines.
Getting from AI to AGI requires incorporating non-rational, emotional and intuitive processing and acknowledging that there are 14 types of knowledge most including declarative or procedural.
IMHO if you want to pick a fight, make sure you know who and what you are dealing with.
