Dear Paola and all, A quick review of the web pages and AI Alliance shows that we as a community as a whole need to register, or individual members of the AIKR W3 CG who have EU accounts can register. I think that for now, providing input as AIKR CG would be premature, taking into consideration that the work of the AI Alliance is already well-defined and structured, whereas our is not (yet). Launched on the day of the first European AI Alliance Assembly, in June 2019 this process has engaged over 700 stakeholders and feedback was collected through 3 different tracks: | | | | (i) Direct in depth interviews, the so called “deep dives”, realised with 50 organisations representative of the various European regions, economic sectors and fields of application; (ii) Written feedback submitted through the registration form and shared with the members of the European AI Alliance through the “Best Practices” section; (iii) Participation in the survey that allows commenting on every single point of the Assessment List. This feedback is being processed to be reported back to the AI HLEG by the 1st of December. The members of the European AI Alliance can still participate in the survey by clicking on the link that best suits their profile: - Organisations or individuals that develop AI products or systems - Organisations or individuals that deal with AI in another capacity | | | | | | Join the discussion | | | | | | | | | | AI-based Applications | | | | | | | Marcel Isbert | | | 19 November 2019 | | | | | | | More | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Ethical and Just AGI for Safe AI | | | | | | | lisa new | | | 14 November 2019 | | | | | | | More | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Best Practices | | | | | | | EIT Health: AI and Ethics in the Health Innovation Community | | | | | | An extensive survey was run by the EIT Health amongst startups and innovators. However, suitable real training data is often hard to come by, especially for critical situations that hardly ever happen. Digital Reality uses AI to optimize and validate other AI systems. The approach allows to simultaneously learn models of the real world and use them for the training of AI systems by synthetically generating the needed sensor data via simulations. This approach also allows us to systematically validate AI systems by automatically generating test cases from our models that specifically address critical aspects. Validation with real data also allows us to continuously identify limitations in the models and adapt them to the dynamic changes in the real world. | | | | Register here | | | | | | | | | 2 to 5 December - AI & Big Data for Innovation Summit | | The 1st AI & Big Data Innovation Summit organised by the Knowledge4Innovation Forum is taking place in the European Parliament in Brussels.
