I am Jeff Young. I’m a Software Architect at OCLC Research, working on Linked Data.

The broad domain and diversity of standards in library systems make it hard to share, merge, clean, and reuse data. Traditional methods using rule-based matching, crosswalks, and API mashups don’t scale well, so we need to leverage more advanced techniques to reduce complexity and improve results.
