Paola , according to the site: Finalists came from the U.S., Canada, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa. The proposals emerged from a wide range of organizations including academic institutions, policy centers, major national and local news enterprises, new digital media companies and start-ups… The pool of reviewers represents a diverse group of experts from the fields of journalism, technology, research and other disciplines. More than half of our reviewers are people of color and about half are women.
