Dear Members of the AI Agent Protocol Community Group, My name is Derviş, and I am writing to introduce myself and a project I have been developing, named *AURA*(Agent-Usable Resource Assertion). I am a 24-year-old solo developer based in Turkey, and I have been following the work of this group with great interest. For the past year, I have dedicated myself entirely to the field of AI development, having paused my studies at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) to focus on building solutions I believe are foundational for the future. While working on applications involving multiple AI agents, I identified a significant gap in the available open-source tooling for enabling robust, interoperable communication between them. To address this, I developed AURA, an open-source protocol designed to provide a simple yet powerful framework for agent discovery, capability negotiation, and secure collaboration. My goal with AURA is to create a lightweight, developer-friendly standard that can help accelerate the growth of the Agentic Web, a mission that I see is deeply aligned with the charter of this group. The project is currently hosted on GitHub, and I would be honored to receive any feedback or thoughts from this community of experts. The repository can be found here: https://github.com/osmandkitay/aura <https://github.com/osmandkitay/aura> I am eager to contribute to the discussions within this group and to help advance the shared goal of creating open, interoperable standards for AI agent communication. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Derviş.
