Hi Adapt Task Force, I forward a query from Adam Sobieski, below. Feel free to respond to him directly at his email listed below. * Lionel ________________________________ From: Adam Sobieski <adamsobieski@hotmail.com> Sent: Thursday, March 26, 2026 7:51 PM To: Lionel Wolberger <lionel.wolberger@levelaccess.com> Subject: Hello, WAI Adapt Task Force and the Adaptation and Personalization Community Group Lionel Wolberger, Hello. I am reaching out today with respect to the W3C WAI Adapt Task Force and with some quick questions. I am proposing a W3C Adaptation and Personalization Community Group [1]. I am eager to explore and discuss with you by email opportunities for collaboration between the WAI Adapt TF and the (presently-proposed) CG. The proposed CG intends explore and discuss uses of AI technologies to adapt natural-language and hypertext content for different users with differing reading levels, language fluencies, and background knowledge. I have some supplemental documents [2][3] which I hope explain some of the technical topics of initial interest to the (presently-proposed) CG. I am currently in the process of optimistic preparation, organizing the points in these two documents into a large number of more concise discussion issues (approximately 30) for the (presently-proposed) CG's GitHub repository. I am reaching out, today, to ask: would it be alright if I emailed the WAI Adapt TF mailing list to promote the CG proposal? I need four people to support the proposal for the new CG to be launched. Do you think any of the participants in your taskforce would be interested in supporting the creation of a CG exploring and discussing content adaptation, AI, adaptive hypermedia, adaptive explanation, adaptive learning, adaptive instructional systems, and more? Thank you!
