Hey y’all, I'm the original requester here :) > It's unclear to me what this corresponds to. Is this someone asking what > status code to use for a protocol extension, in their code, someone > disagreeing with established status codes, or anything else ? This is specific to RFC9209 Proxy Status and more specifically proxy error types: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9209.html#name-proxy-error-types We're hoping to register a new "HTTP Proxy Error Type" in accordance w/ the instructions for in https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9209.html#register-error I'd be happy to elaborate more on our specific use case, but generally this is a better signal for the clients of our service than simply http_request_denied https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9209.html#name-http-request-denied which is the closest existing match for our purposes. Thanks! Max
