Well, it is maintained, but it's hard to get the maintainers to fix these kind of bugs, and then get the bugs backported. Not to speak of feature request, such as being able to do something interesting with the intermediate code (https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8294196). Best regards, Julian
