I've received a few puzzled requests from implementers about difficulties involved in joining to support the work (they work for large corporations and can't get approval to join and support the call for adoption in the time it takes their lawyers to respond... and may never get approval -- I've told them that if they can't find a way to respond and participate, the WG won't be able to take their input into account). Some have responded positively, but were concerned about responding the wrong way (and I haven't been able to get back to them to tell them how to respond the right way due to travel / other WG involvement pressures). At this point, I do think it's important to point out that Mastodon, which has over a million people on their network has implemented the spec and was interested in supporting the call for adoption, but has yet to get their vote in. Link to Github is here: https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/issues/12914 I know that's a weak show of support w/o a complete write up... and I know that most on this list already know this... but just mentioning that there are more supporters of this call for adoption than have responded on this mailing list. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Veres One Decentralized Identifier Blockchain Launches https://tinyurl.com/veres-one-launches
