Hi, I'm sure everybody noticed that drafts announcements a few minutes ago -- we just published the -12 drafts of Part 1 through 7 (today is the submission deadline before the Bejing IETF meeting, but note the WG is *not* meeting there). In the -12 drafts we made a few bigger and lots of minor changes. Overviews are in the appendices: <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p1-messaging-12.html#changes.since.11> <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p2-semantics-12.html#changes.since.11> <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p3-payload-12.html#changes.since.11> <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p4-conditional-12.html#changes.since.11> <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p5-range-12.html#changes.since.11> <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p6-cache-12.html#changes.since.11> <http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/draft-ietf-httpbis-p7-auth-12.html#changes.since.11> Among the more noteworthy changes are: - "Handling multiple Content-Length headers" <http://trac.tools.ietf.org/wg/httpbis/trac/ticket/95>: we're still discussing this, so the current text just is a snapshot - "Considerations for new status codes" <http://tools.ietf.org/wg/httpbis/trac/ticket/229>: it's a start, but we'll have to do more work on the details - "Considerations for new methods" <http://tools.ietf.org/wg/httpbis/trac/ticket/230>: see above - "Factor out Content-Disposition" <http://tools.ietf.org/wg/httpbis/trac/ticket/123>: now in a separate spec - "absorbing the auth framework from 2617" <http://tools.ietf.org/wg/httpbis/trac/ticket/237> Mark Nottingham, our WG chair, will follow up with a list of tickets we'd link to close as fixed soonish. Feedback appreciated, Julian
