No. They can set cookies for www.livejournal.com or admin.livejournal.com (as opposed to livejournal.com), and these will not be shared with name.livejournal.com. This is somewhat of a red herring; the problem they had is one they could fix using existing technology. It's not what the public suffix list addresses. Gerv
