Hi HTTP WG folks,

I haven't participated in this forum for a while,
but... I'm back.

For your review, I have:
http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/Protocols/PEP/draft-ietf-http-pep-01.txt

I prepared an HTML version of the draft as well. I think
it might be more clear and easier to read for some folks:

http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/TR/WD-http-pep-970131

I sent it to the internet drafts editor (with a copy
to the WG chair) last friday. So I did meet the 1 Feb
milestone. Anyway... I guess it will
be coming out the traditional channels any day now.

I'm particularly interested in feedback from anybody
who tried to implement the August PEP draft. This
one is a bit less ambitious -- I scaled it back to the
stuff we had implemented, and moved some issues
to a "future work" section.

Larry had some comments about splitting the requirements
out into a separate document. It's more work for me
as editor, so I'm against it by default. But I'm just
the editor, so whatever you like...
