16.1.1 contains the text: If the cache can communicate with the origin-server, then a correct cache MUST respond to a request with a response that meets all the ^^^^^^^ following conditions: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ [ Conditions 1,2,3,4 deleted ] This `all the following conditions' must be `at least one of the conditions 1, 2, or 3, and condition 4'. As a formulae: (1 or 2 or 3) and 4 Just replacing `all the following conditions' by `at least one of the conditions 1, 2, or 3, and condition 4' would lead to a correct text, but of course not to a readable one. I would be willing to supply a rewrite of 16.1.1 if Jim Gettys asks me to write it. Koen.
