I may have misunderstood your email (so I am mailing you directly so I

sound like a dope :)), but in version 3.1 of the delta-v spec under LABEL
(6.5), it says:
The body of the request contains an XML document with either a DAV:add or a
DAV:delete member.
It doesn't seem to say anything about the remove element containing a label
though...

The label method body introduces an element <DAV:remove> defined as
containing #PCDATA (i.e., the label). RFC2518 already contains a
<DAV:remove> that contains a <DAV:prop> (i.e., for removing properties).
We should change the element name so that we can merge DTDs unambiguously.
