    Yes, they are now just called "id"s instead of "segment"s.
    Revision-id's are also id's, with a note that standard URL
    encoding will be used if the revision-id is used as a segment
    name.

    I presume, given the decision that labels are Unicode characters, that the 
    protocol doc will be changed to say so (i.e., Labels are no longer 
    'segments').
    
    Revision id's however are produced by the server and therefore remain 
    segments.
